Lone Star Maule Winter 2017 Fly-In

New Date: 01/27/2017 - 01/29/2017

What:
Airport manager Joey Baker and the City of Sulphur Springs, TX invites the Lone Star Maule group to fly in and camp out at the Sulphur Springs Municipal Airport this January. The airport offers a great grass and paved runway, fuel, bathrooms, showers, transportation into town and proximity to several dining options.

Poker Run: There are at least half dozen grass airstrips in the area (tentative route below) for us to visit where we will collect playing cards in an attempt to form the best poker hand. The winner will be announced Saturday evening and awarded a prize for their poker "skills".

Most of us will tent-camp by the planes; however feel free to make reservations at one of the local hotels.
BYOB, cigars, camp chairs and tie-downs.
